Springbok Park
Springbok Park was once named Grosvenor Park and developed in 1930. It was renamed to Springbok Park, the South African National BuckThree hectares of bushy park covered in indigenous plantilife, situated between Pretorius and Francis Baard street. A popular venue for wedding photos, Springbok Park is named after the South African National buck.
As a well loved park it is always wise to not go alone and be careful at night, and safety in numbers. It was declared a National Monument in the 1979.
