About Constitution Hill
Constitution Hill is a historical precinct that bears testament to South Africa's turbulent past and its journey to democracy. The site includes the Old Fort Prison Complex, the Women's Jail, Number Four, and the Constitutional Court of South Africa. Notable figures such as Nelson Mandela and Mahatma Gandhi were once imprisoned here.
